It depends on how much light it gets and where it is located. If you have it in the ground, generally it does not need manual watering as it likes to be dry. If you are in drought conditions though, you can water it a few times a month, but keep in mind it does not need too much water.
If you have it in a container, you can water it when the soil is dry down 1 inch.
