Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in southern NJ and have about 125 blueberry plants. It’s May 4, some of the petals have begun to fall from a few of the plants. Will I have ripe blueberries before June 1st? I have to go out of town on the 24 of May and will be back by June 1st. I’m worried that I’ll lose berries before I get back. I can’t find a timeline anywhere- just the various growth stages. This is only our 2nd year of having mature plants filled with berries and I didn’t write that information down last year.

Blueberry harvesting is anywhere from late May to August depending on your cultivar. Do not pick them until they are blue and fall right into your hands.
