How Large is a # 1 and # 2 Pot from Nurseries

Mail order nurseries list pot sizes. What is a #1, #10, etc. pot size? Are these year old or more plants, namely shrubs?

This has to do with size of the plants, depending on what they are and where you get them – varies from place to place. The normal range for pots sizes is #1, #2, #3, #5, #7, and #10. Generally speaking, the larger the number, the larger the pot, and usually, the larger the plant. Most shrubs/trees are at least a year old prior to selling them.
