How Do You Keep Hydrangea From Turning Green?

I believe we have pinnacle hydrangea type. Cone shape. They were white and two toned, pink-white colors. Is there a type of fertilizer they require?

Panicle hydrangeas have blooms whose color scheme cannot be controlled by soil pH changes or by amending the soil with aluminum. The varieties typically open with a white bloom or they open green and then turn white. After 1-2 months, the blooms begin a series of color changes that end in brown blooms. The color progression depends on the individual cultivar that you have. Consult the plant label for each variety for detailed information.
