getting rid of sap

How do I remove the white sap from confederate jasmine that got on my clothes? I was pruning my jasmine and white sap got onto my clothes. Threw them in the washer and all of the spots are still there even though the stickiness is gone.

I would spray plain, cheap hairspray on the stain. Let sit a minute and toss in the washer.
