How Do I Get Hard Concrete Out Of My Grass?

I’ve just moved into a new property and doing some DIY on the yard, my grass isn’t great at all, so I decided to attempt digging up to re-turf. I put the spade in to find it’s extremely hard with dried up cement.

Outside of digging around the blocks if possible, or breaking them up before removing, you might try reaching out to your local extension service.

If you cannot remove the concrete, then planting trees with strong roots can grow through the concrete.
