Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI adopted a flaming Katy plant 3 weeks ago. I replanted and I have it as an indoor plant. I don’t water much, but the leaves are falling off and the branches are getting brown and easily breaking. How can I save the plant?
Appreciate any suggestion to save the plant.
Thanks,
Shubha.

Succulents like this plant are very sensitive to overwatering, so it’s important to only water them when the soil is dry. Also, make sure the plant is in well-drained soil (preferably a cactus/succulent mix, see the below article) and has enough drainage holes in the bottom of the pot.

The rocks might be making it difficult to see whether the soil needs watering or not, and they might be making the soil stay wet longer. I recommend removing them and checking the soil moisture a couple inches down. You may even need to remove the plant and its soil from the pot and let it dry out if the soil is very wet.
