Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comThe planter has 2 bottoms. the lower bottom has 2 one-inch holes, above it is the upper bottom with no holes whatsoever. Between the 2 layers of bottoms is a space of 1 inch. I want to use this container for roses. I also have bought moisture crystals in 2 sizes, small and medium. Should I use any of them? Which one?

I'm not familiar with that type of container, but if the first bottom really has no way for water to escape, you can add about five holes spaced out along the bottom. Make each hole about 3/8 of an inch wide.
