Horseradish Gone Wild

I have a friend who is battling some horseradish that has spread all over her yard. She doesn’t want to use any kind of commercial poison to try to kill it. Instead, she spends a few hours every day, digging and pulling it up by hand. Any suggestions?

This article should be helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/horseradish/control-horseradish-plants.htm [1]

Also, boiling water poured over them is very effective. Be aware that boiling water will kill any vegetation it comes into contact with, so do not use this near plants you want to keep.
