holes on the leaves of dinner plate hibiscus?

My “outdoor” dinner plate hibiscus (red) has something eating holes on the leaves. What do you recommend to use to save the plant?

Also, the same plant is huge… can I split it in the fall?

Thank you so much!

You can use neem oil, as long as you do this when it is not in direct sun. This will deter most pests without harming the plant. There are many other things that can help that you likely have in your house already as well. This collection of articles will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/special/organic [1]
