Hibiscus lost all leaves

Shortly after bringing the hibiscus plant indoors, it lost all its leaves. It is still green near the base of the stems but otherwise seems lifeless. Is there anything I can do to bring it back? Thank you.

The change in environment was probably a bit too much for the plant. In the future, make sure you acclimate the plant when bringing it in (https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/hpgen/acclimate-plants-indoors-winter.htm [1]).

What it has basically done is gone into dormancy. If you continue to care for it (making sure to only water when the soil is dry to the touch on top), it will live through the winter without leaves and leaf back out in the spring.
