Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have two bushes about 5 to 6 ft high on each side of my front porch steps. One has variegated leaves. I would like to trim them to look more uniform but do not want to hinder bloom growth. I live in FL and temps rarely get below fifty. Can you advise?

Heavy pruning should be done in early spring– February or March.
Avoid fall and winter for heavy pruning.
Light pruning can be done any time to clean up broken or diseased branches.
