You may want to try using insecticidal soap on the plant. Read this article to learn about that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/pesticides/homemade-soap-spray.htm [1] Also, make sure to clean away any debris or decaying leaves under and around the plant.
If you've over-fertilized it, that would account for the lack of blooms.
