Hibiscus

Our hibiscus seems to freeze every winter. It gets below freezing for a few days at a time. We were told to cut back the dead branches in spring and that the plant would likely grow and bloom again…true?

Yes, as long as its branches are still green, the plant is alive and should regrow without any problems. It is also better to wait until spring for pruning, which will also help protect the plant from further damage should cold weather strike again.
