Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comShould I plant them deep into the cactus medium or will this risk rot. Also I live in the middle of England where we do occasionally get quite hard frosts. what’s the minimum freeze temperature they will endure please.

Prickly pears are hardy to 20 degrees F (-6.7 C), according to the USDA hardiness zones.
I wouldn’t plant them deeper into the soil. Are they possibly getting too much water? They should stablize on their own.
