Hi, I’m new here. I found what looks to be some sort of succulent, severed from the larger plant.

Is there any way to plant this effectively in order for it to flourish in a virgin garden? the whole thing is pretty big and I’ve never tried to plant from a cut root. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful. Thank you
