Hen and Chick plant

I have had my hen and chick plant since spring. It has no chicks and it is turning purple red. Is this normal? Should I move inside for winter. Live in north ga?

It will do best indoors over winter, but many can survive your area. It just depends on the cultivar. Some of them will turn colors naturally, and this will, again, depend on the cultivar.
