Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHiya, I hope you may be able to help me. I am a desperate girl in need right now! I received a yellow peanut cactus for Christmas, and has been easy to care for. Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed the base? of the cactus has become all soft and looks like its rotting. (Picture provided). I’m not 100% sure if there is any way to save it, and I don’t want to do anything that could make it worse. Can I replant it? Any ideas?
*Could do with a reply A.S.A.P!!

It appears your cactus is suffering from root rot; a severe case. It is doubtful it will recover.
