Helichrysum Petiolare (licorice Plant)

I live in zone 10a in Florida and am looking for a groundcover to replace grass. Can you mow or weed wack Helichrysum petiolare (licorice plant) to use it as a groundcover?

Sure! You could use this as a groundcover, and is done so in many areas.
