Height Of Witloof Chicory Plant

I would like to plant Witloof chicory from seed but am not sure of proper placement in my garden. Could you please tell me : 1- how tall(above ground)) will the plant grow 2 – What are good and bad companion crops. 3- rotation considerations Also will the leaves produced this summer edible?
