Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy Roses have a lot of problems. I have never used pesticides for any help. At the nursery, it was suggested I use a Boiadvanced pesticide. I know these are not good for edible plants. Is it still safe to use these types of pesticides if fruit trees or other edible plants are close to the rose bushes? Any input is appreciated.

The orange patches on the leaves sounds like rose rust which is a fungus. Here is an article on Rose Rust for you: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/roses/rose-rust-disease.htm [1]
You will want to spray them with a Fungicide listed for the control of Rust fungus. Give them all a watering or two of a product called super thrive mixed into the water. The super thrive will help them deal with the stress of the rust while the fungicide is working.
