hameln grass

I wuld like to plant hameln grass or something similar around my storage shed as a border plant. I live in zone 7 (Tulsa, OK). Can I plant this type of grass in September? Or are there other grasses not over 3 feet tall that would work?

Generally these are planted in late spring or early summer, as they are considered warm-season grasses and the roots will grow only in warm soil. Planting too early in the spring may cause the roots to rot; however, planting in the fall may not allow the roots to grow enough to establish before the cold and wet of winter.
