Hibiscus Plant

I have 2 Hibiscus plants that I had planted in our outdoor flower boxes last summer. They bloomed all summer and did great. I dug them up, replanted them in proper size containers and brought them in the house, under southwest windows. They are doing great and blooming, but little tiny white gnats, or whatever, have formed under the leaves and they can fly when you tap the leaf. I tried hosing them off in the shower and tried some sprays, but they are back. What can I use to get rid of these pests?

The white insects are whiteflies, which commonly affect hibiscus plants. It is important to thoroughly check plants (and wash them off) prior to brining them indoors for winter. These insects can be treated with neem oil.
