What would be requirements to grow tomatoes in a old bathtub?

I would make sure that it is steel or ceramic, and not copper, or aluminum. Then you will want to make sure that the drain functions as you will want plenty of drainage. You can fill the tub with potting soil, or a mix of topsoil, compost and any other amendments that you would like.
