Growing gardenias from a cutting

I have been able to take cuttings from gardenias, put them in water, and get them to grow lots of roots. They often put on new foliage, even below the water line. How do I take them from that stage and get them to grow in soil?

The recommended method of propagating Gardenias from cuttings is to use rooting hormone and a growing medium.

You can remove the cuttings from the water and place them in starter pots of clean sterile potting mix.
