Greenhouse Problems

I have a greenhouse with 4 boxes in them with plenty of hearty veggies. They seem to be doing okay. However, it gets to be in the high 90s and low 100s these days. I have taken out every other 1/4 side panel and have the doors at both ends open. I also have a fan going and a vent that is always open. Problem is – it gets to be around 120 in there these days. Trying to find a way to keep the veggies cool. I put chicken wire inside the front of the boxes and draped a white sheet over the wire to keep the hot sun off of them. Would it be better to put some black mesh draped over the top of the outside of the greenhouse to keep the sun from beating down on the plants? I water them once early morning and again early evening to revive them from the hot temperatures. They wilt, but seem to perk back up the next morning. Please advise.
