Grass turned brown in spots

Should we rake up the brown grass spots and seed because of drought?

In some cases, grass that has gone brown due to drought is still alive, and will come back from the roots when it is given a few weeks’ or a month worth of enough water. If yours does not come back, then yes you can reseed as described in this article:
