Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI need to know how to move a 50 year old grape vine without killing it! It’s been suffocated by a tree we had removed 3 years ago and is coming back slowly, but we need to move it to our backyard with out killing it! Please help! My name is Darbi and I really don’t want to see my grapes get killed!

Please see the following article, which explains how to transplant an old grapevine. In case something goes wrong, it is best to also take a few cuttings from the grapevine to grow in case the vine doesn’t make it and you need to replace the plant. This process is described at the bottom:
