Gladiolus in boutonnieres and bouquets

I am getting married at the end of July of this year and would like to use gladiolus in the bouquet and boutonnieres. I live in a zone 6 in Ohio, so it is going to be pretty hot and humid. Will gladiolus be able to hold up for 8 hours plus in a bouquet and/or boutonniere without much water?

Thank you

Make sure you properly cut and hydrate the flowers in clean water.
Purchase floral preservative that is diluted in the water.
