Gladiola Identification

Hello, I have an orange speckled gladiolus that has been surviving on this vacant lot in the Historic district( goes back to the 1600s ) where I live in Fernandina Beach Florida. I wonder if there would be someone there, or someone you could recommend, to help me ID this one? Thanks in advance.

You might find it by searching the internet for historic or heirloom gladiolus. Here is one source:

A trip to the library also may help. One search will probably lead to another.
