Given Extreme Heat My Corn Silk Has Turned From Early Silk To Brown In Less Than 10 Days. The Cobs Are Small. Should I Harvest Now

We have had forest fires and extreme heat for two weeks (not usual in this area of British Columbia) My corn has appeared to mature in the last 10 days. The cobs are still small although the silk has gone brown in the last 10 days. Should I harvest now ?
