Gaura Gambit Rose Bicolour

My husband brought a Gaura Gambit Rose Bicolour in July. It said it was suitable for growing in containers so we planted it and had it on our patio. It has flowered very well.

What i would like to know can we keep it for next year? if we protect it from frost or is a plant that will just flower the once?.
