Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have gardenias in a shrub bed. Their fall new growth was killed by an early freeze. Can I cut them back now or should I wait until all chances of freezing weather are over? I live in North Alabama and we are having 60 degree weather this week. Thanks for any advice.

I would save the pruning till later just in case another bout of freezing weather happens along. The ideal time for pruning gardenia shrubs is in summer anyway. This article will help you: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/gardenia/when-to-prune-a-gardenia.htm [1]
