Fungus Growing on Tree Trunk

I have some type of fungus growing on my apple tree. It looks like large blisters. Clear and red in color, all sizes. What is it, and how do I treat it? Is there a spray I can use?

Could you please send us a photo of the fungus? We will be better able to identify it if we have a picture.
