Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI planted tulip bulbs in the same area where I planted new bushes. I want to put mulch for the bushes, but can I put the mulch over where I planted the bulbs? Will the mulch hurt my bulbs? Thank you.

You can mulch the area. In most cases, the bulbs will push through the mulch just fine. But just to make sure, in the very early spring, check the area and if it looks like the bulbs are having trouble pushing through, simply gently move back the mulch a bit from where the bulbs are.
