Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comJust planted blackberry bushes earlier this summer. When is the first time I need to prune them? They bore only minimal berries this year but are looking very healthy and have grown an enormous amount. What is my next recommended process, please?

If you have a lot of new growth, prune out the weak canes. You will also want to prune out last years growth. In the spring, use a balanced organic fertilizer.
