Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comIt was doing great, then all of sudden the end of the watermelon turned brown-not the stem end. Why? Too much water or not enough? I live in Tn. and we have not had much rain, but I watered every day. I have a rain barrel.

This is blossom end rot and is normally cause by too little or uneven watering. This article about squash end rot applies to melons too and will help:
