Fig Tree Symptoms

My fig tree only has leaves and fruit on the very ends of the limbs. My husband says it is because it got too much watering over the winter. But it has had the same treatment since we planted it about 10 years ago. Last year and previous years it bloomed great. Now this season, it has some fruit and leaves, but only on the ends of the branches. There are green ‘stems’ on some of the branches, but they’ve never budded out. I hope you can help me – I love this tree. Thanks. Em ??

You didn’t mention any pruning for your Fig Tree.
Pruning can be key to the shape and health of your tree.
Here is a link that will refresh you on pruning.
