fig tree pruning

Purchased young, potted fig tree this spring. It has four shoots (upright growths) 3′ high. Do I cut any of these off and what other pruning do I do? I live in SW Fl., sandy soil and lots of sun. Thank you.

Most trees should not be pruned until they’re at least a year or two old. With this in mind, here is an article that you may find helpful: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/figs/pruning-fig-trees.htm [1]
