Is Miracle Gro all purpose plant food good for fig trees or is there a better fertilizer for fig trees?

This should be fine. You will also want to check the soil pH, as fig trees enjoy a soil pH of 6.0-6.5. If your soil is too acidic, you’ll need to add some lime as well.
