Fig leaves spotted

I planted a tiny fig tree (brown turkey) a couple of months ago and it seems to be growing ok except the lowest leaf is covered with brown specks. Earlier a leaf also did this and soon fell off. Do I need to do something?

If it is just brown spots, then this is most likely fig rust, caused by a fungus. If you treat the plant with neem oil, it will correct the rust issue. Here is more information on both:
