Ficus Benjamina drainage holes

Question

I’m going to be putting up my ficus to a 16″ diameter by 14″ deep pot. It’s currently in a 14″ diameter, and I want it to have a little more room. Also, the current pot’s saucer is built on to the bottom of the pot, so watering when indoors is always a huge task, as I have to drain the tray so it doesn’t sit in the access water (I flush the soil every time I water, I never water in sips). Anyway, back to the new pot. I added an excess amount of drainage holes (haha I know it’s probably overkill), but I want to make sure the soil breathes well and also so it can dry out a little more during the winter months. I don’t mind if this will cause me to have to water more often, but will this cause any issues? Thanks. This site and everyone on it has been extremely helpful.

This looks completely fine. Evenly spaced.
Should be a great new pot for you plant.
