Fertilizing Through Weed Barrier Cloth

I put down weed barrier cloth this year, how do I put my granule fertilizer down so it gets through the barrier paper? Thanks

Just sprinkle it around the plants as you normally would, then water. It will trickle down through the cloth each time you water. Here is more:
