I saw on your article about fertilizing fig trees that are grown in the ground but how much, when and what kind of fertilizer for a container growing fig tree?

A 5-5-5 balanced fertilizer would be recommended, starting with an early spring, spring and then early summer application.

Stop by late summer so your fig can start to go dormant for the winter.

Also a layer of compost can be added to the top of you pot.
