What kind of fertilizer is best for Japanese Compacta Holly and when should I fertilize?

The best fertilizer for holly plants is actually called Hollytone. Any acidic fertilizer or evergreen fertilizer will work though. Always follow the instructions on the fertilizer you choose. This article may help:
