Fertilizer

I bought some potato fertilizer for my spuds in tubs and wondered if the same fertilizer is good for any other crop. I only have a little garden without any soil so have built a bed and want to grow beetroot and spinach. I have a lot of the potato fertilizer left so thought I could sprinkle it over the bed but worried it might not be right for the other crops. – thanks, Stephanie

You will need to check the label carefully and determine the NPK number of the fertilizer that you have.
Potatoes are an underground crop and need more Phosphorous then other plants may need.

Depending on the other crops or plants you have and their nutrient needs, you may or may not be able to use the same fertilizer.
