Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI am straw bale gardening. My zucchini are rotting at the blossom. I understand I need calcium. What brand would you recommend? First time gardening, I have tomatoes, peppers, zucchini and herbs. Cuke plant did not make it. It was in the same bale as zucchini.

Egg shells steeped in water are a good source of calcium. You can also spray your plants with a solution of 1/2 to 1 ounce of calcium chloride or calcium nitrate to one gallon of water.
