Female cottonwood blossoms north of San Diego

We have camped in this area in early April with our two dogs. We had to clean the dogs’ feet every time they were outside. What is the period of time when the blossoms drop on the ground?
We would like to camp there, but can’t stand the “droppings”

Thank you

Unfortunately this can be anywhere from March to mid June depending on the exact location.
