Blueberries should be fertilized in the early spring as described in these articles:

Most perennials should be fertilized in the early spring as well, but some perennials don’t typically need fertilizer unless a soil test shows nutrient deficiencies. Compost can also be used instead of synthetic fertilizer because it is less likely to burn plants and its effect provide long-lasting benefite:
