Eucalyptus tree battling after I moved it

I moved my small 4 foot eucalyptus tree to an area where it can grow without interference and since then its leaves have taken on a crumpled look. I was very careful preparing the soil and made sure that I did everything that as recommended to me by my garden center. The lower branches are looking quite brown now too.

Trees will commonly get “transplant shock” after transplanting. Check these articles to see what to do:
